Photography, for me, has never been about simply making a beautiful image. It’s about finding the story already there.

I’m drawn to the moments and places people often pass without noticing—the quiet street in a small Wisconsin town, an old building carrying decades of history, a person absorbed in their work, wildlife caught in a fleeting moment, or a road disappearing toward somewhere unknown.

After years spent moving fast and living a life that often demanded my full attention, photography has become a way for me to slow down, explore, and really see what’s around me. Some days that means grabbing my camera and heading out on the motorcycle with no particular destination. Other times it means traveling hundreds of miles because there’s a landscape, a town, or a story I want to experience for myself.

My work ranges from documentary and street photography to landscapes, wildlife, and the occasional portrait, but the subject matters less to me than what the photograph feels like.

I want my images to leave you wondering what happened five minutes before I pressed the shutter—or what happened five minutes afterward.

Because the photographs that stay with us aren't always the technically perfect ones.

They're the ones that make us feel something.
